Team Masiko clinch the second edition of the KCCA FC fans Gala

Team Baker Masiko emerged as the overall winners of the 2022 KCCA FC fans gala held at MTN Omondi stadium Lugogo on Sunday 18th December.

Team Baker Masiko were declared Champions earning SHS 1,800,000 as cash reward after accumulating 74 points earning the 1st position Meanwhile Team Ssali came up with 68 points earning the 2nd position ,Team Ssimbwa with 55points and Team Latigo with 53 points earning the 3rd and 4th place respectively 

There was fun as many enjoyed the games  at the 2022 KCCA fans gala at  MTN Omondi stadium included three – legged race, egg on spoon race, blind fold water filling, bottle carrying on the head, Athletics in 100M, Mixed and short relays.

The annual fans sports gala was graced by the club patron the lord Mayor Erias Lukwago as the chief guest. Club Legends and former players were present at the gala.

Baker Masiko ,Sam Ssimbwa, Paul Ssali and John Latigo are the club legends whose names were used as teams for the fun- games and all these club legends were present on the scene to see their teams compete in different fun games.

Hassan Wasswa a former KCCA FC player and an ex international was part of Team Latigo as he participated in games like tug of war and football.

The prize giving ceremony called upon Several Club officials including Vice chairperson Aggrey Ashaba, Chief Executive officer  Anisha Muhoozi and others

“Such Activities as the annual fans sports gala bring the Management closer to the fans, Also the fans feels appreciated after their loyalty to the club over time through such games at the gala .This is the platform to know each other as well through Socializing and Networking” Anisha Muhoozi said the club CEO.

 “It is still work in progress to involve more fans and grow the fan base for the club.”

KCCA FC life captain Charles Baker who was present as a team named before him emerged the overall winners of the gala appreciated the club for always remembering it’s legends when they are still alive.

“I thank the board of the club for organising such Gala’s and name teams before us when we are still alive. It’s always good to appreciate what we did for the club when we can also be able witness such engagements.”

“I urge the current players at the club and the technical team to always be present at such fans engagements so that they create that bond with the fans who are always behind them when playing.”

“Players should alway be disciplined at all times and must be focused so as to write a name which will be remembered in the future.” Said Charles Baker Masiko.
