Wakiso Giants duo of Titus Ssematimba and Owen Kasule have been nominated for the best football player award for the month of November.
The purple sharks duo will face stiff competition from Vipers lethal forward Yunus Ssentamu who is currently the joint lead scorer with six goals all coming on the month of November.
Wakiso Giants ended the month of November on an unbeaten run as they played six games winning four and drawing the other two.
Owen Kasule had a huge contribution in the six games Wakiso Giants played as he scored three goals and created three involving himself in six goals.
For Titus Ssematimba, he was vital as he helped the Uganda Hippos team defend the CECAFA trophy with commendable performances and also helping out his side Wakiso Giants in the last three games they played on November.
In basketball, UCU duo of Titus Lual and Fayed Bbaale will be up against Jimmy Enabu who helped his side City Oilers to their first qualification to the Basketball Africa League.
As we are coming to the close of the year, the last awarding event will feature a special category of the Real Superstar who has been outstanding throughout the year.
And this year 2022 the nominees are Brenda Ekone from Basketball, Jacob Kiplimo Athletics and Posiano Lwakataka a rally driver.
The awarding ceremony will be held at Garden City rooftop on Saturday 10th December.
