Olivier, Vipers part ways just one month after being crowned UPL best

Brazilian born coach Roberto Oliviera has  been shown the exit door at Vipers SC. Robertinho guided the Venoms to a tremendous performance in the month of November which saw him clinch the best coach award for the month.

He parts ways with the Kitende based side following the earlier departure of his assistant Marcelo Cardoso who departed the club just after their qualification into the CAF champions League group stages.

This was confirmed via the club’s official statement released on their website.

“Vipers Sports Club announces that Mr. Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has left his role as the head coach with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Robertinho for his tireless efforts as the head coach during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.

The Club shall in the shortest time possible come out with a statement on the technical bench leadership following the coach’s departure”

Roberto Oliviera who replaced Fred Kajoba guided the Venoms to one UPL title and one Uganda Cup trophy as he also helped the club to achieve a huge milestone as he guided them to their first qualification into the CAF champions League group stages.
