KCCA FC defeated Express FC 3-0 in the Startimes Uganda Premier league match at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo to move top of the log.
Moses Waiswa scored the opening goal in the early two minutes of the game as he converted from the spot after defender Derick Ngoobi commited a foul on Allan Okello in the box.
Congolese born striker Tshisungu Kankonde opened his account at KCCA FC as he doubled their lead coming off the bench and set up by Waiswa to put the ball in the far corner of goalkeeper Dennis Otim.
Charles Lwanga ‘Neymar’ also got his first goal in the season as he scored a beauty goal off a good turn after being set by a brushing header by Tshisungu Kankonde to seal the scores.
KCCA FC have now regained their spot at the top of the table with 25 points surpassing Vipers on 23 points and BUL who sit third with 23 points.
Express have now succumbed to their fourth loss consecutively and sit in the ninth position with 14 points.
