Kasasiro boys out to continue Busoga dominance

The Kasasiro boys of KCCA FC will host Busoga United in the Startimes Uganda Premier league match at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo as they target maximum points.

KCCA FC have a better record against Busoga United as they are yet to lose a game winning nine out of the 11 duels they have faced each other with the two encounters ending in draw.

The face struggling Busoga United who have only managed three league wins in the 12 game played and losing nine as they currently sit in the relegation zone with just six points in the 14th place.

Morley Byekwaso boys are eager to fight for maximum points at home as they target to extend their top of the table lead and bouncing back to winning ways after playing out to a 1-1 draw against BUL FC in their previous game.

Head coach Morley Byekwaso will miss defender Geoffrey Wasswa who has been consistent in his team playing every game of the season and this will be his first game out due to card suspension.

Byekwaso remains positive of collecting maximum points at home where they are yet to lose a game despite drawing just once against URA FC.

“We need to be very aware of our opponents and we need to work hard to get a result at home. We respect our opponents and we are aware of their current situation. We need to be clinical and take away our chances against Busoga.”

“We expect to see some changes in the team and these will be to replace the injured and suspended players. Mugume is a doubt after picking up a knock in the previous game against BUL FC. Geoffrey Wasswa will miss the game due to suspension while Revita and Iguma will miss the game as they still gather full match fitness.”

Busoga United have struggled with consistency as they come into this encounter on top of a 1-0 home loss against Arua Hill despite picking up a massive 3-2 victory against Wakiso Giants away from home before losing to Arua Hill.

They will rely so much on their striker Laban Tibita who returns to the squad after serving his suspension of accumulated cards.
