Kitara FC extended their impressive run in the FUFA Big league as they defeated Ndejje University 5-1 at Kigaaya primary school playground to remain unbeaten at home.
Goals from Patrick Kaddu, Dudu Ramathan, Ronald Kayondo and a brace from Edison Agondeze ensured that Kitara picked maximum points to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Vicent Abigaba scored the only goal for the visitors Ndejje University as they only managed a consolation as they lost their first game against Kitara.
A win for Kitara has seen them move to 20 points at the top of the log whereas Ndejje University sit 13th on just nine points collected.
Elsewhere, Mbarara City are yet to lose a game in the big league and they remain the only team carrying an unbeaten run as they managed to pick a vital 3-1 win against Kyetume FC at Kakyeeka stadium.
A brace from Henry Kitegenyi and a goal from Jamil Nvule were enough to earn Mbarara City a 3-1 victory against Kyetume.
A win saw them move to the second position with 19 points and just a point below leader Kitara who lead with 20 points from nine games.
Bugolobi based side NEC FC have also managed to keep the pace in the top three as they secured a goalless draw against Kaaro Karungi away from home.
They currently sit third on the log with 17 points from nine games.
