NSAMBYA SC pick first win against KJT

Oldest living Ugandan Football Club,Nsambya SC secured a 1-0 scoreline against Kampala Junior Team (KJT) to record their first win in the Ongoing 2022/23 Kampala Regional League.

In a Match three Fixture played at St.Peters playgrounds in Nsambya,the hosts who had not won a game from two reacted to queries tasked by a sizeable crowd of which included Region’s Competitions Director Peter Nkugwa.

Head Coach who also doubles as the area Councillor Boban Fredricks Tusubira fielded a hungrier and eager to win starting lineup name Busiro Ssaza Player Isaac Ofwoyirwoth, Midfield Maestro Nasser Nambagala among others.

In a half of open chances, Club’s talisman Emmanuel Ssebuuma who should have scored earlier utilised from poor communication by KJT’s Goalkeeper to loop in a long ball from Solomon Lwanga in the 35th minute to earn Nsambya the 1-0 deserved lead at halftime.

In the last Stanza,KJT added efforts to level matters but probably not enough to break a joint force from the Leopards.

Nsambya Soccer Club,who lost their first two games against Blackstars and Ntinda United both on a 1-0 scoreline will use this win to keep feet on gas pedal as they visit St.Mary’s Football Club in Makerere next Wednesday.
