Kampala Queens maintain unbeaten run, She Corporates register first win

The FUFA women super league match day five climaxed as Kampala Queens picked a vital 1-0 away win against UCU lady cardinals to maintain a 100% winning rate. 

Magret Kunihira scored the only goal of the day as the palace Queens collected maximum points in Mukono to stretch their top of the table lead to a five points gap.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga defeated Makerere University 2-0 to keep the pressure at the top of the log as they now sit third with 10points.

Lady Doves seemed to powerful for struggling Asubo Gafford ladies in a 3-0 win as Norah Alupo continued with superb form as she scored a goal alongside Lydia Nyandera and Babirye Olivia.

Hadijah Nandago was the player of the weekend as she bagged a hat trick in Kawempe Muslim’s 4-1 win against Riness SS at Kawempe playground.

Peace Aloyo scored into her own net as she put Kawempe ahead. Amina Nabbabi scored the consolation goal for the visitors.
