Kampala Queens ease past Olila to maintain a perfect start

Kampala Queens defeated Olila HS WFC 2-0 in the Women super league match played at the FUFA technical centre in Njeru.

Goals from Resty Nanziri and Zainah Nandede were enough as the palace Queens maintained their 100% winning rate in the league to remain unbeaten.

Kampala Queens dominated the game from the start as Nanziri opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after set up by a defence splitting pass from Shamirah Nalugya.

 With just seven minutes from the opener,  Nandede doubled their lead scoring her first goal in the league 35th minute.

Kampala Queens now command a top of the table lead with 18points from 6 games played as they sit five points above second placed Uganda Martyrs.

The match was graced by the speaker of the parliament of Uganda Hon Anita Among alongside the FUFA president Hon Moses Magogo who were in attendance.

The speaker commended the performances from both teams and awarded a 10M Uganda Shillings to the winning team Kampala Queens and also a token of appreciation to Olila.
