Uganda’s U17 football national team, the Uganda Cubs have learnt of their opponents in the qualifiers of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations.
These are for the CECAFA region.
In the draws conducted on Thursday, Uganda was placed in Group B.
And her opponents will be Djibouti, Rwanda, Sudan and Burundi.
This tournament is set to be hosted by Ethiopia who were placed in Group A.
Ethiopia will also battle with 4 others teams in a group of 5.
These include Tanzania, Eritrea, Somalia, and South Sudan.
These zonal qualifiers are slated to be played between 30th September-19th October at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
