Uganda Cranes coach Micho cleared of sexual harassment allegations

Uganda Cranes headcoach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho has been cleared of all sexual allegation charges.

It should be recalled that months ago, Micho saw his name up claim negative publicity after a one Sibabalo Diba accused him of sexually harassing her.

However, following his appeal in the Grahamstone High Court, South Africa, Micho was cleared of any wrong doing.

Micho had been sentenced to two different three year jail terms by the The Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) Regional Court.

These however were suspended for 5 years. Micho however through his appeal vehemently denied these charges.

“After close scrutiny and careful considerations of all merits presented by my legal team,
the High Court handed down a judgment of my ACQUITTAL,” partly reads a statement from the tactician.

“I was duly found NOT GUILTY on all charges that I was sentenced on which overturned the initial sentence and pronounced on my TOTAL INNOCENCE on ALL counts of charges and pronouncing SUCCESS of MY APPEAL.”

The reported sexual harassment case happened in December of 2020. This is while the Serbian was still the coach of the Zambian National team.

Micho had gone to watch the COSAFA U20 cup in South Africa. In the charges against the former SC Villa tactician, Micho is said to have verbally and physically sexually assaulted 39 year old Sibabalo Diba at the Wolfson stadium where she was delivering coffee.

She reported that Micho had told her how he prefers a ‘different type of sugar’ before he proceeded to inappropriately touch her.
