Spanish club Leganes finally unveil Ibrahim Juma

Spanish side Club Deportivo Leganes which plays in the Segunda division the second tier of Spanish football has finally unveiled Ugandan talent, Ibrahim Juma.

According to the official Leganes social media websites the 18 year old who plays as a left back was signed for the youth teams.

This is however not a permanent transfer but rather a loan from KCCA although there is a buy back clause option.

He’s set to join the club in the coming months after the paperworks have been sorted out.

The 2004 born defender has also already debuted for the Uganda Cranes as he played for 75 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Libya in a tournament featuring the two countries and Tanzania going on in Libya.

“C.D. Leganés has signed 18-year-old Ugandan left-back Ibrahim Juma for its youth teams. The player arrives on loan with a buy option clause from Kampala C.C. from his country, and will join the club in the coming months once the paperwork has been completed.”

“Born in 2004, despite his youth, Juma has already made his debut with the Uganda senior national team, having played 75 minutes in the match against Libya on Wednesday 21 September. Juma will soon join the Pepinero squad discipline when the documentation process is completed.”
