Simba Queens planning major raid on She Corporates

It seems like Tanzanian side Simba Queens are planning a major raid on Ugandan side She Corporates.

The winners of the CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers are interested in the Ugandan club’s coach Charles Ayiekho.

Coach Ayiekho grabbed the attention of the Simba Queens hierarchy during the CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers to the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Under his guidance, She Corporate became the first Ugandan team to reach the final of the qualifying tournament.

She Corporates who won the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League champions played against Simba two times both in the group stages and in the final where they lost 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.

Also on the Tanzanian team’s radar are She Corporates’ players Phionah Nabbumba and Favour Nambatya.

These also impressed the officials at Simba and the club is as well interested in signing them.

Ayiekoh a former Maroons FC coach also doubles as the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) head coach in the University Football League.

MUBS are currently into the quarterfinals having finished the group stages with a 100% run.

They will play against their neighbours Kyambogo University in the draw which was held at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo on Monday.
