KCCA youngster Ibrahim Juma joins top Spanish side

According to the latest information, KCCA’s youngster Ibrahim Juma, has sealed a move to Spanish Segunda side, Club Deportivo Leganes.

The 18 year old who plays as a leftback completed the move a few days ago according to the EA Eye.

The EA Eye is said to have collaborated with Rainbow Sports to provide an insight during the recruitment process.

Juma made an instant impact in the 2021-22 Uganda Premier league season for KCCA.

He made 4 appearances which he all started scoring once and assisting once in these games.

This move is set to see Juma unite with fellow countryman David ‘Colgate’ Owori who left SC Villa for Spain last year in March.

Owori currently plays for Velez Club de Futbol which is in the Segunda Federacion the fourth division of Spanish football.

Juma was part of the Uganda Cranes squad which recently ousted Tanzania on a 4-0 aggregate enroute to the CHAN tournament in Algeria next year.

Leganes currently has 3 points from 5 games and sits in the 19th position in the 2022-2023 season.

Juma becomes the latest youngster from KCCA to grace European football following Sadat Anaku’s move to Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League last season.
