Wakiso Giants set to sign ex URA player Moses Seruyidde

After announcing his departure a while ago from Uganda Premier League side URA FC, winger Moses Sseruyidde is reportedly on the verge of signing for another UPL side, Wakiso Giants.

It’s reportedly by UPL transfer guru Calvin Umar Kayemba on how the deal is about to be finalized.

Sseruyidde is currently a free agent after announcing his departure from URA FC this year.

While taking to his Facebook page, Sseruyidde revealed how he had decided to cut his 4 year stint with the tax collectors to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

“It has been four years since I joined URA FC but today I decided to leave the club because of some issues but I want to thank URA and the entire management for the opportunity.”

He was part of the URA squad that won the Mapenduzi cup in Zanzibar having joined the club in 2017.

The purple sharks have been slow in this transfer window and have so far signed only one player. This is former KCCA amd Vipers goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya.

The club finished in the 7th position with 39 points in the 2021-22 Uganda Premier League season.
