Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa are on the verge of singing and announcing UPDF FC coach Brian Ssenyondo according to credible sources.
This is after Ssenyondo failed to come to terms with UPDF. Ssenyondo joined the Bombo based team in 2021 on a two year deal.
This was expected to expire in 2023 but its said that re-negotiation on personal terms have fell apart.
Villa meanwhile have been without a coach ever since parting ways with their Greek coach Petros Koukouras a few months ago.
Villa meanwhile have been barely active in the ongoing transfer window. They have seen more outgoings than incomings.
The club which has for a number of years been pegged back by mishaps in the administrative wing will hope to have a fruitful season this time round.
