Mountain Dew injects UGX 50M into FIM Africa Motorcross of African Nations.

The Federation of Motorsports clubs of Uganda (FMU) has officially launched the FIM Africa Motorcross of African Nations at Speke resort Munyonyo.

Crown Beverages under their product Mountain Dew have continued with their support into Motorcross investing in over 50 million Uganda shillings in the upcoming Africa event.

“We have supported Motorsport for over a decade and we shall continue with the support, we are so happy to be part of the big event on the African calendar in Motorsport.” Said Grace Namutebi the Marketing manager Mountain Dew.

Part of support from mountain dew will go to the media who will cover the event and the fans as each one will be given a bottle of mountain Dew upon entry.

The FIM Africa Motorcross of African Nations will take place at Garuga Victoria race way track which was cleared by FIM to host the event from 19th – 24th  August.

The launch was graced by newly appointed sports Minister Peter Ogwang who pledged to lobby more for sports development in Uganda and also promised to attend in person the event on Sunday.

The MXOAN event will see a couple of countries across Africa take part like Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Uganda.

Team Uganda will have a number of more than 40 riders with Alistair Blick the team captain as they look forward to win the tittle which was last win by South Africa in 2019.
