Muhammad Shaban returns to KCCA FC

Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC has confirmed the return of striker Muhammad Shaban.

The striker returns to the Lugogo based side after signing from his home club Onduparaka where he was instrumental last season scoring 15 goals.

Muhammad Shaban confirmed his departure from Onduparaka in a farewell message through his Facebook account.

“Today I say goodbye to a magnificent club Onduparaka, I want to thank the Club for helping me become a better footballer and for making me feel at home during my time here.”

Shaban featured for KCCA FC in his first spell as he was signed by Mike Mutebi in a mega deal which blocked him from joining rival Vipers SC in 2017.

In his spell at the kasasiro boys he helped the club achieve continental success as it became the first Ugandan club to qualify for the CAF champions League group stages.

His brilliant performances at continental level steered him to earn a lucrative deal as he joined Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.

He later went on to sign for Vipers in a two years deal but his time at the Kitende based side was affected by injuries which limited his playing time and later released to return to Onduparaka.

He joins the Morley Byekwaso coached side as the seventh signing of the season joining Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, Muhamed Ssenoga, Kankonde Tshisungu and Allan Enyou.
