Express set to earn millions of shillings from Erick Kambale sale

Uganda Premier League team Express FC is set to earn millions from the sale of their star striker Erick Kambale ‘Kenzo.’ This is after two more yet to be known teams joined the race to sign the goal poacher.

The Red Eagles have been in negotiations with Sudanese side Al-Merrikh to sign the striker for a fee believed to be around $40,000 dollars.

This is after Kambale’s impressive trials with the club back in early July. The new clubs however will give Epxress bargaining power as Al-Merrikh are yet to sign him.

Kambale has been one of the Wankulukuku based club’s best players over the past few seasons. He netted 18 goals in their double title winning 2020-21 season. 15 were in the Uganda Premier League and 3 in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

He follows a long list of experienced players who have exited the club and continue to do so.
