Bright Stars unveil Melbet in a mega partnership deal

Uganda Premier league side Solitilo Bright Stars has today unveiled Melbet as one of their sponsorship partners ahead of the upcoming 2022/2023 season.

The Melbet marketing manager Teopista Nassuna has unveiled a one year partnership deal which will see Melbet as the official kit sponsors of Bright Stars a deal of undisclosed fee.

“We unveil our partnership with Bright Stars one of the top teams in the Uganda Premier league. As Melbet our aim is to promote Ugandan football and that’s why we are here today. We shall appear at the back of the jersey.” Said Nassuna.

Melbet enters into another partnership with Bright Stars just a week after signing with UPL side Express FC.

The deal will see Melbet provide match dakits and fans replica jerseys as well as taking part in the CSR activities alongside Bright stars as Harold Atukwase a board member at Bright Stars narrates the partnership.

“We are going to move together with Melbet in our CSR activities alongside our partners TICAD and JICA for a period of one year.” Said Harold Atukwase.

Bright Stars who are celebrating a mile storm of making 25 years since their start in 1997 and to years in the league ever since attaining promotion in 2013 will be privileged with this mega deal.

“Our marriage to Melbet is monumental as we are making 25 years as a club and 10 years in the top flight League in Uganda.” Added Harold.

Brighy stars finished 11th with 36 points from the 30 games they played in the 2021/2022 season and they aim to do better than that after assembling a mixed squad which targets more on player development under coach Asaph Mwebaze.
